It's not a legal requirement. Under the Tenant Fees Act 2019 (England) and the Renting Homes (Fees etc.) (Wales) Act 2019, a landlord can't make you use a professional cleaner. But you do need to return the property as clean as it was at check-in, and cleaning is one of the most common causes of deposit disputes. A professional clean to a check-out checklist is the simplest way to get it right.

We take a 50% deposit to confirm your booking, and the remaining balance is due when the cleaner starts the work. We accept bank transfer, credit or debit card and cash.
Yes. You can cancel or reschedule free of charge up to 48 hours before your clean. Changes within 48 hours are covered by our terms.
It depends on the size and condition of the property. We confirm the expected time when you book.
Please make sure the property has running water, electricity and lighting, and parking (or a permit) available. For end of tenancy cleans the property should be empty of belongings, and please switch off and defrost the freezer the day before. You can be there, leave a key, or we can collect it from your agent by arrangement.
